BUFFALO. This Wakan Tatanka (Sacred Buffalo) sculpture was carved in white alabaster and tinted with paint. Eyes are black opals. Black chlorite horns are polished with graphite.

A mold which was made from this stone carving is used to cast limited-edition (24) bronzes of two patinas entitled Pte'-San and Tatanka (see description and photo under bronzes).
